I don't know what the Hell is going on anymore.

I hear different stories from everyone who knows them, each with a few things in common, but different enough to indicate that someone closely involved is lying.

I talked to Noel today. She called me at work. I had to tell her that Branden broke up with her, because despite what he says, I honestly think he never told her. She was crying one minute and angry the next, and it was awful... I wanted to cry with her.

I asked her if she ever thought I was hitting on Branden, and apologized if she thought I was. She sorta admitted that she thought I was flirting with him, but then she said "But, everyone flirts." (Yes, Branden is very attractive... but honestly, he's not my type. He's way too skinny.) She didn't make it sound like a big deal on the phone, not as big of a deal as he made it sound, that is, but he did tell me at least some of the truth.

My two best friends left for Indiana. One of them has come back, and one of them has to be lying to me and everyone else... I thought I knew what was going on, but now I'm not so sure anymore. And I really don't want to believe ANY of the things that either one of them has said about the other. If Branden is telling the truth, Noel was never really my friend at all, and I've been duped by yet another psycho girl. If Noel is telling the truth - I don't even want to think about what that means about Branden.
